The Kogi State Police command has paraded a 40 years old farmer, Abubakar Alfa for allegedly killing one Isa Ahmadu and buried him over a dispute arising from hobnobbing with his wife.
Parading the suspects yesterday, the Kogi state police commissioner, Seidu Madawaki said Alfa killed Isah in the farm at Enabo village in Ankpa local government of the state and buried him there to cover up the crime.
The commissioner said the deceased had been having issues with the suspect who he accused of having an affair with his wife.
The suspect took the police to the scene where he buried the deceased which was exhumed.
He will be charged to court soon the police chief said.
Alfa admitted to journalists that he killed Ahmadu and buried him in his farm, alleging that it was the deceased who first gave him a machete cut on his head before he responded.
“I was working on my farm when I saw two women passing and talking to themselves. I did not say anything but Ahmadu (deceased) later came asking why I was talking to his wife. I told him I did not talk to her. He gave me a machete cute. I also responded and I killed him,” he said.
The police also paraded one Michael Adekeyi and Adebayo Ayobami who defrauding unsuspecting depositors of the West World Investment Limited of over N15 million.
Others paraded included one Hassan Omoaghe for alleged gun manufacturing and one Bashir Ali and Nasir Musa, school certificate holders arrested for armed robbery.
