The Audu/Faleke faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi state have resolved to work for the re-election of Governor Yahaya Bello in the November gubernatorial election.

This was confirmed after a brief meeting between Governor Bello and the leader of the group, Hon. James Faleke at the Governor’s Abuja residence on Sunday.

Briefing newsmen after the meeting, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Onogwu Muhammed, said the meeting was fruitful.

“The Governor and his Chief of Staff, Edward Onoja received the Federal Lawmaker and had a closed-door discussion with him. The meeting which was centred around the success of the APC in the forthcoming Kogi November 16 Guber polls was fruitful,” he said.

According to a source in the Audu/Faleke camp, the leaders agreed as to full participation of both camps in the November poll.

“The governor will meet all members of the Audu/Faleke group very soon in Lokoja to commence the full scale participation. We are all happy with this new development,” the source said.
