Hon. Musa Olumayowa Yakubu (MOY), a former aspirant for the House of Representatives, Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, has dedicated a community service award from his community, Iyamoye, to his principal, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh.
MOY made this known after receiving the award on Wednesday in his hometown of Iyamoye, in the Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
The award conferred on Hon. Musa, who was the Chairmanship candidate of Action Alliance for Ijumu LGA in the October 19 local government election, by the national leadership of the Iyamoye Development Union, was in recognition of his unwavering dedication, commitment, contributions, and support for the development of the community.
While expressing gratitude to the community for the honour, Hon. Musa shared that he is dedicating the award to his mentor, Otunba Olayinka Adenehon Braimoh, the CEO of Hall 7 Real Estate and the 2023 gubernatorial candidate for the Action Alliance party in Kogi State.
“I feel privileged to receive this recognition from the national body of the Iyamoye Development Union for my efforts toward the progressive growth of Iyamoye. This achievement may not have been possible without the backing of my mentor, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, who has generously supported the community on multiple occasions by funding the restoration of electricity, road repairs, and covering school fees for over 100 students from Kogi State, including many from Iyamoye. I sincerely pray that God will aid him in realising his wealth creation plans for Kogi State,” he said.
MOY promised that he will continue to take every right human measure to elevate the Iyamoye community and Ijumu LGA.
