Kogi State Councillors Forum are planning to stage a solidarity march for Kogi state Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
The Forum, comprising of Councillors that serves in the twenty-one (21) Local Government Councils in Kogi state between 2013 and 2016, has concluded plans for the event tagged: ‘One Million Kogites March for Gov. Yahaya Bello’.
This position was stated in the press release signed by the Forum’s media director, David Femi Arokoyo, and made available to Kogireports.
As part of the resolutions of the 22nd meeting of the forum, the body’s executive was mandated to transmit a letter to the Governor Yahaya Bello appreciating him for his vision and concerted effort in the re-positioning of Kogi state.
The forum also appreciate the Governor’s commitment to the rule of Law and the laudable effort of his administration on the roads construction recently flagged up across the three senatorial districts in the state.
The planned ‘One Million Kogites March for Gov. Yahaya Bello’ will feature philanthropic activities to compliment the effort of Kogi state government. Free tools will be given to targeted Kogites at no cost.
The Forum resolved and pledge its loyality to the government of Gov. Yahaya Bello and his aspiration towards a better Kogi State.
