A former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Abdulmumini Ibrahim, has expressed sadness over the passage of Dr. Ado Ibrahim, Ohinoyi of Ebira Land.
Abdulmumini, in a statement issued on Sunday, said the revered monarch was a meteor among stars with his exceptional wisdom and excellent leadership beyond his domain.
While commiserating with Kogi state government, the people of Ebira land and the immediate family of the huge loss, the former lawmaker said it will take Kogi state and Nigeria a long time to recover from the monarch’s passage.
He said the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land was an undisputed hero in his life time and will remain a hero even in death for his infectious courage, open door policy, cerebral and humane disposition.
“Ohinoyi of Ebira Land was a true definition of candor, panache, and royalty. He bestrode the state as a colossus.
“I admire Dr. Ado Ibrahim a lot for his simplicity, leadership acumen and his antecedents as a successful businessman before his ascension to the throne of his fore fathers.
“It will be difficult to get another Dr. Ado Ibrahim as he was a rare breed. His sense of maturity with a rich blend of humor coalesced with his fluent communication skills made him exceptional. He was respected beyond his domain,” he said.
Hon. Abdulmumini prayed for the repose of his soul and urged the family to take solace in the fact that the late monarch lived a fulfilled life.
