The political trend in Anyigba and Igala nation, lately, is disheartening and worrisome. To my understanding, the downtrodden masses are always humiliated by the principal actors while the supposed leaders of tomorrow have become cooperate beggars and victims in all folds of political violence in our society.

It is unfortunate and unhealthy to read all sort of garbage submission, flimsy excuses and on guided vituperation all to mortgage not only their personality but the entire generation.

It is high time we identify our problems, so that we can be focus with the vision of finding a better and lasting solutions to them. The youth of our generation were lured into the politics of hatred, bitterness, onslaught with personal aggrandizement. Instead of consistency, desperation becomes our hallmark.

An average Igalaman would rather patronise INCAPABILITY as a result of OMAWEDE for CREDIBILITY without remorse. Our generation are not ready for self establishment/empowerment because of the immediate benefits to the detriment of all. We must try our individual efforts to ease the ego, dissension and discord in our political sojourn.

Anyigba people, just like the entire Igala race, were known for their humility, humbleness and hardworking in the early and late eighties even early nineties. From records, Late Igono Iyale built a story building in the early eighties as a mere entrepreneur, Yakubu Adaji of blessed memory also broke the chain of poverty as bricklayer, Morgan Ada Edibo and Gbogbo Abalaka were successful farmers, Mamman Dantelle, Ali Odu were all part of history of Anyigba development as business men with dignified antecedents yet they never acquired formal education in their days. Even Yakubu Amedu, Alhaji Salami Abdullahi (ASTA), Umoru Okolo, Abdullahi Ameh, Alhaji Noah Etu, Alhaji Sule Akagwu Kpaleko, Idrisu Onuh etc were not left out of the scene.

It is unfortunate that Anyigba have lost all the glorious records in our generation as a result of political hatred and the syndrome of get rich quickly.

Anyigba and most of the Igala youth have shamelessly indulged into all antisocial menace you can think of, be it cultism, thuggery, rape, kidnapping, killing, molestation, robbery etc, our youth are shocks with immoral thought and in turn influence their actions negatively.

Let us avoid planting the seeds of destruction, songs of hatred, disunity, rancour and foeship amongst ourselves. All these were mistakes of yesterday, the only way we can learn from it is never to repeat same any further. The situation we find ourselves in terms of leadership is awkward to our generation but we seems not to be ready for the tax ahead, what we need is proper commitment and attitudinal change in our humane disposition.

We can never achieve anything if we continue to be seeing moon from our various houses, let all Imams, Mallams, Pastors, men of God and Elders inculcate the enlightenment programme on ‘The Value of Human Life’ in our society.

The policy makers should also make it a priority the importance of Peaceful Resolution Methodology in our school curriculum. The enlightenment must cut across the juvenile and adults in other to reduce the rate of delinquency and indiscipline to the next generation.

Whatever is not meant for us can never find us and whatsoever that’s for us will definitely locate us, any man that’s helping us to succeed in life is the manifestation of what God Almighty have destined for us long before the creation of Heaven and Earth, let’s keep the faith and always be guard and guided for distractions of life and properties of our brothers and sisters in the name of political affiliation and vituperation is indeed a primitive political enlightenment!!

Thank you all.
