In a powerful and visionary declaration, Comrade Abdulrahman Abdulmumuni Enesi has officially thrown his hat into the ring for the Chairmanship of the Kogi State Chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), pledging a youth-driven agenda anchored on inclusion, empowerment, unity, and social reform.
Speaking before a gathering of stakeholders, youth leaders, and elders in Lokoja, Comrade Enesi expressed his deep passion for service and outlined an ambitious 8-point agenda aimed at transforming the fortunes of young people across the 21 local government areas of the state.
“This decision is not driven by personal ambition, but by an enduring passion to serve and to advance the noble cause of youth development in our dear state,” Enesi declared.

He acknowledged the achievements of the outgoing NYCN leadership in the state, commending them for laying “a solid foundation upon which we can confidently build.” Enesi promised to consolidate their gains and take youth advocacy and development to new heights.
His vision includes collaborating with the Kogi State Government to increase youth inclusion in governance, promoting unity among the state’s diverse youth population, and constructing an ultra-modern Kogi Youth House that will serve as a functional and symbolic headquarters for youth engagement.
Other key elements of his agenda include human capital development, the creation of a Youth Development Trust Fund, the nurturing of talents in creative industries, and strong campaigns against drug abuse and youth indiscipline.
Comrade Enesi, who has served in various youth platforms across the state, emphasized his readiness to work in line with the national mandate of the NYCN, which has been a symbol of youth development and national unity since its establishment in 1964.
“This is our moment. This is our movement. Let’s move together,” he said, calling on Kogi youths to unite behind a common vision for a brighter, bolder future.
With integrity, experience, and a clear roadmap, Enesi’s candidacy is already generating excitement across youth circles in Kogi State.
