In My open letter to Governor Yahaya Bello immediately after his inauguration,i insisted that the unity of the Kogi people should be paramount and supreme in what ever direction he is going to lead the state.
I equally submitted that in answering the long and lingering Kogi questions, all forms of nepotism and tribalism should be totally and clearly refused, this will not only balance the democracy of our state, but will instigate a more sophisticated and adequate unification of the general thoughts, general philosophy, general aspirations, general regards and most of all general statesmanship in the state.
But all this, have been intentionally ignored, thus what we have today is a state where a group of few persons are living extremely well, very comfortable, politically strong, politically influential, and financially powerful, while others are suffering a pandemic level of poverty, Marginalization, oppression, imperialism and abandonment.
Off course a state suffering from such pavertism and abnormalities in its government will give birth to selfish and greedy movement like the present “Enémunéme”,it will give birth to political prodigals, who will eventually trample the rule of law and abuse every single tenets of democracy as the case has become in Kogi state.
The “Enémunéme” Movement is an advance way of advocating inter-tribal discord and malices within the majority, and even within the minorities of Kogi state.
It is a complete re-echoing of the well known fact that the Yahaya Bello led government is a government of the few,by the few and for the few or better put, a government of the prodigals,by the prodigals and for the prodigals.

By accepting and proclaiming “ENÉMUNÈME” this sect of individuals have announced clearly that they support individual development compare to the general development of our dear state, they have accepted that siphoning of our state funds and assets for personal use is of more importance than the payment of salaries and arias[which is the major reason for the disbursement of this funds],by sharing affiliations with this uncircumcised movement, this individuals have equally accepted that the persive development of just Okpo in Olamaboro local government and some privilege parts of Okene are the only responsibility of our state government.
If so, what then happens to the graduate at Bassa, what then happens to the sick woman at Ogori-Magongo, what happens to the farmer at Yagba, what happens to teacher at Okehi, what happens to the pensioner at Ankpa, what of the pupils and students of public schools in places like Dekina and Omala, where common classrooms are a dream, what of the Man at Ibaji and many villages in Kogi state that still do not have common drinkable water.
What actually becomes their fate?
Even as a young tragedian I can not qualify the intensity of this tragedy that is indirectly celebrated as “ENÉMUNÈME”.
It is a pity that poverty, jurvinism, greed, illiteracy and political selfishness has thwarted not just the leadership of Kogi state, but has gone a long way to turn region against region, tribe against tribe, evil against good, aristocracy against Marxism and most all, self against all.
But like Tserere Mugo, the Kenya Poet, noted; the liberation of a people is never damned by the continuous aggression of the oppressors, but by the despairs of the oppressed.
Let it be well known that the oppressed in Kogi state have a strong will and our agitations can never be damned no matter the amount of aggression our oppressors employ against us,we are never going to give up on the insist and advocacy for good governance in Kogi state.
Like Nelson Mandela, this struggle is our life.
