I was greatly saddened to hear the news of the passing of Ankpa Traditional Council Chairman and the Ejeh of Ankpa, Alhaji Yakubu Amodu whose sad event took place early hour of today.
I wish to convey my personal heartfelt sympathies to the traditional council of Ankpa Local Government Area while the people of Ankpa II State Constituency join me in expressing our sincere condolences to the Igala Traditional Council and Kogi State Traditional Council in general over this sad event.
It is our believes that his place of honour in the history of Nigeria’s industrial development has been assured as a highly successful career officer where he served as Secretary Dantata and Sawoe and chief custodian of the much celebrated culture and traditions of our people.
While I pray that God Almighty would receive the late Eje’s soul and grant him peaceful repose, the thoughts and prayers of the people of Ankpa II State Constituency are with the children, family of the late Ejeh and the entire people of Ankpa Local Government Area and Kogi State in general.
