Ahead of 2019 general elections, eight associations in Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State have come together to endorse the candidature of President Mohammadu Buhari and Gov. Yahaya Bello.
The associations announced the endorsements during the empowerment programme by Confluence Cooperative Women Alliance (CONCOWA). CONCOWA empowered members of the associations with N10,000 trader money, a soft loan for traders.
Speaking at the occasion, Hajia Rabi Mohammed, Chairperson of CONCOWA in the state, commended the beneficiaries for showing their gratitude to President Buhari. She described their action as commendable.
Hajia Rabi described the trader money as a booster to assist people start of support their businesses. She said so far over 6000 beneficiaries have gotten the loan from the state.
Hajia Rabi commended Gov. Bello for creating the enabling environment for the citizens to access the trader money and urged the women to sustain their support and vote massively for the duo in 2019.
