I join Muslims in Lokoja Local Government Area, Kogi State and all over the world in observance of 2024 Eid-el-Fitr and in thanking Almighty Allah for the grace to witness another Eid.
As we immerse ourselves in the joy of this moment and celebrate, let us remember those who may not be as fortunate as us. Those who have died and even the sick ones who are laying at home or in hospitals.
Coming at the end of a religious activities spanning the last thirty days of the Islamic Month of Ramadan, Eid’ul-Fitr enjoins us as Muslims to express gratitude to Almighty Allah, to show love, mercy and compassion to everyone around us.
I want to use this medium to pray for God’s guidance and protection to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in their task of providing leadership and prosperity to Kogi State and Nigeria respectively.
To the good people of Lokoja and beyond, May Allah continue to grant us His grace, mercy, protection, and His forgiveness.
