Eid Kabir: Hon Rabiu Alfa Urges Muslims to Imbibe The Spirit of Sacrifice and Have Faith for Good Times

The honorable member representing Ankpa II constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Alhaji Alfa Momoh Rabiu has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls around the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid El Kabir celebration which commemorates the Muslim pilgrimage to mecca as well as the faith of Ibrahim.
In a congratulatory message made available on Monday, the honorable member described the season as a time to reflect and imbibe the spirit of patriotism through sacrifice and faith in the country stressing that hard times don’t last.
“The celebration of sallah doesn’t just stop or end at the killing of Rams and merriment. It is a period to reflect the ideals of sacrifice and faith most especially to hard times” he said.
“If you study well into the Quran and bible, the act of sacrifice by Prophet Ibrahim(Abraham) is what earned him the doctrine honour as ‘father of faith’ and so, the need to as faith adherents reflect very often in this regard.
Forthwith, he exclusively thanked the people of Ojoku and Enjema districts of Ankpa local government area for their unwavering supports and solidarity to him over the years noting that such has been the energising factor of his synergy with relevant stakeholders at attracting dividends to the people.
Hon Rabiu Alfa’s congratulatory message ended by wishing both Muslims and non Muslims alike a happy and worthwhile eid holiday.
