As the world celebrates this year’s Maulud, the Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola has sent hearty wishes to the university community particularly members of staff and students who are celebrating the Islamic holiday marking the birth of the holy prophet.
In a statement made available to the public by the spokesman of the university, Tade Oshaloto, the Vice Chancellor emphasizes the need for all to reflect on the teachings and essence of the holiday and make it count for national growth and development which must begin at each person’s duties and responsibilities no matter how seemingly big or small.
The Microbiology don emphasized the need to show empathy and commitment to fellow citizens and the State which has given members of the University community a unique opportunity to earn a decent living while contributing to noble cause of nation building.
