Eid-El-Malud: Kogi Deputy Gov Congratulate Muslims, Sues for Peace

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Elder Simon Achuba, has congratulated Muslims across the country on this year’s celebration of Eid-el Maulud.

Elder Achuba who stated this in his Eid-el Maulud message, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Akor Sylvester, called on Muslims to use this year’s celebration to pray for peace for the country and the success of the present administration of the country led by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Deputy Governor urged Muslims to use the lessons and preaching of Prophet Mohammed to sustain the Peace and unity of the country.

He further enjoined Muslims to continue to show love and be their brothers keepers any where they find themselves as exemplified in the holy book.

According to the Deputy Governor, in this period of celebration, the peaceful teachings of the Quran and the holy prophet, should be upheld by all Muslim faithfuls across the country.

The Deputy Governor who just returned from Jerusalem with the Kogi State contingents, said the prayers offered for the state in the holy land has been answered by God, urging Muslims to use this celebration to thank Allah for the prayers answered.

He said the mighty hand of God is on the state, urging all Kogites to resist any act capable of posting threat to the continuous co-existence of the good people of the state.

The Deputy Governor commended the development feat already achieved by the present administration of the state led by Governor Yahaya Bello, maintaining that in no time, the people would see and appreciate the Kogi of their dream.

He further called on all Kogites to continue to support this present government of the state which he noted was instituted by God to rescue the people from hardship and underdevelopment.
