Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the last Kogi governorship election, Engr Musa Wada has congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah in the state as they join their counterparts in Nigeria and all over the world to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.
In his sallah message, Wada urged faithfuls to be one another’s keeper for the purpose of peaceful coexistence.
He stated that Eid-El-Kabir celebration it is a time of worship to God through the act of sacrifice.
According to him, the celebration is a symbolic and historic religious injunction that showcased the act of obedience of Prophet Abraham who was asked to sacrifice his only son, reminding the Muslim in Kogi state and Nigeria to remain obedient to God’s bidding as they mark the Eid-El-Kabir.
“Remember that your worship is incomplete if you fail to understand that the Eid-El-Kabir is a time for generosity, sober reflection and sacrifice that will be dedicated to prayers for love and peace to thrive throughout our dear state and nation,” he said.
