Member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi state, Hon. Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims, has rejoiced with Muslim faithfuls across the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Rep. Halims, in a goodwill message issued by his spokesperson, Comrade Muhammed Nasiru, felicitated with adherents of the Islamic faith for witnessing yet another festival of sacrifice in obedience to the almighty Allah.

The statement called on Muslim faithfuls to use the medium of the celebration to pray for the success of the new administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Senator Kashim Shettima stressing that the current hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy will only last for a while for things to get better.

Halims expressed confidence in the administrative capacity of the current administration to reposition the country on the path of prosperity and socioeconomic development as embedded in the renewed hope mantra as well as the quality of individuals being appointed into the government.

The federal lawmaker further enjoined Muslims to always put aside personal interests and promote  unity cum peaceful coexistence at all times noting that the ultimate virtue exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim’s obedience to slaughter his only son in fulfilment of his promise before help came from Allah is the sanctity of human life.

While rejoicing with Muslims all over the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir, he sent his special greetings to the good people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas of Kogi State and prayed that God uses the occasion to bring forth greater prosperities and long life to celebrate more in good health.
