I Comrade Dr. Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu, Provost Kogi State College of Health Sciences Technology Idah, on behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management Staff, and Students of this great citadel of learning wish to felicitate and congratulate all the Muslim faithfuls in Kogi State, in Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of the celebration of Edil Kabir.
This celebration is a direct celebration that reminds us of our hope in God – hope for God’s providence. Just as God almighty demonstrated to Prophet Ibrahim which in the Bible is known as Abraham by providing the ram in place of his young lad (his boy). So it raises up our hope in God that in the midst of difficulties and hardship that God Almighty can provide for humanity.
It is also a celebration to demonstrate love to one another by sharing our gifts, goodies in life with fellow men. We thank God Almighty for that .
Let me use this medium to felicitate and congratulate His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the Executive Governor of Kogi State on the occasion of this celebration and his new direction team.
Equally, I wish to felicitate our Royal Father’s especially Kogi State President of the Traditional Council HRM Dr. Alaji Matthew Oguche Apa on this very memorable occasion of the celebration of Edil Kabir and all other traditional council members in Kogi State
