The Chairman, Kogi State Chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Haddy Ametuo has called on all the Muslim faithfuls in the country and Kogi state in particular to seek for God in order to get out of present avoidable economic and socio-political mess.
In his Ramadhan message signed by his Media Adviser, Tijani Ramat Momoh, Ametuo described the Ramadhan period as a season of unity, love, forgiveness, repentance, truth, justice, sincerity, worship, self-evaluation and prayers.
“It is true that a society gets the kind of leadership it deserves but we should be bold enough to truly seek and identify where we actually went wrong. God does somethings for a purpose and He allows certain things to happen for a purpose. We need to beg God to forgive us for our actions, inactions and choices for which we do not have His approval”, he said.
“Kogi state must move forward and this is why we need God’s intervention on time to shame the devil pretending to be God.
“I want to assure all Kogites, especially the founding members of our great party APC to be rest assured that the labour of our founding fathers will not go in vain.
