As Muslims in Kogi State join their counterparts across the world to celebrate another Eid- el-Fitri, Chief Medical Director/CEO and Management of the Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH) Teaching Hospital Okene, Dr. Shuaibu Stephen Babatunde has felicitated with the Executive Governor of the state, Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo and entire Muslims on the privilege to witness the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In his message of felicitations on Saturday, Dr. Shuaibu commended Muslims for observing all the rites associated with the fasting as instructed by Prophet Muhammad, praying Allah to reward their sacrifices.
He urged the Muslims to use the season to pray for Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo that his administration will succeed in piloting the affairs of the state to greater heights and for sustained unity, love, and peaceful coexistence among the people.
The CMD enjoined Muslim faithfuls to extend love and good brotherliness to their neighbors by exhibiting the virtues of Prophet Muhammed which include sharing with the needy, peaceful co-existence and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the celebration.
Dr Shuaibu prayed Allah to accept the prayers and sacrifices of the Muslim community, urging them to sustain the lessons learnt during the holy month for a progressive society.

According to him, “The Ramadan was a period of abstinence, sacrifice and devotion which should be sustained for the benefit of the people in the society and to ensure its growth”.
He wished Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, all Muslims and the entire people of the state a blessed sallah celebration.
