Senator Sunday Karimi has congratulated the Muslim Ummah, particularly those in Kogi West senatorial sistrict, on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
According to a statement on Thursday, Senator Karimi congratulated Muslims on the successful completion the 2026 Ramadan fast in good health and spirits.
He also congratulated the government and people of the state, while praying that the leadership in Kogi state continue to bring prosperity and peace.

“May our prayers be answered, and may this celebration bring us closer to Almighty God.
“To the entire Muslim Ummar in Kogi State, especially the good people of Kogi West, I wish you a blissful Eid-el-Fitri celebration! May our homes be filled with love, peace, and happiness.
“I’m indeed optimistic and assured that with the prayers of the faithful, we shall overcome the challenges facing our State.
“Kogi State is a shining example of interfaith harmony, and I commend our citizens for this. With our collective prayers and efforts, I’m confident we’ll overcome insecurity and build a brighter future.
“As we celebrate Eid-el-Fitri, let’s reflect on the values of compassion, kindness, and generosity that Ramadan instilled in us. Let’s continue to work together towards a more peaceful, prosperous, and united Nigeria,” he said.
Senator Karimi urged Kogites to sustain their support for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s administration, which he said has been deliberate and intentional in addressing the needs of citizens.
