The candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November 11 Kogi governorship election, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo has congratulated Muslims in the state and country on the celebration of this year’s Eid el Fitri.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Ododo congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan fast, urging them to imbibe the spirit of humility, love and sacrifice that the season represent.
According to him, the Holy Month of Ramadan is a blessing to him following his emergence in the just concluded governorship primaries, saying his victory is one of the blessings of the month of Ramadan.
The APC flag bearer, however, enjoined the Muslims to imbibe the lessons of the season beyond the Holy month to earn them Allah’s blessings.
Ododo called on residents of the state to watch out, be at alert and report suspicious movement capable of causing security breach to the security agents.
