Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Prof. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has congratulated Muslim faithful on the completion of Ramadan fast and celebration of Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja on Sunday, Prof. Usman congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the entire government and people of the state for the successful moment of spiritual reflection, devotion and self-discipline which are the hallmarks of the month of Ramadan.
He encouraged all Muslims to sustain the values of sacrifice, love and compassion beyond Ramadan, fostering peace, unity, and progress in Kogi state in particular and the country as a whole.
“On this auspicious day, may the Almighty Allah accept our acts of worship, shower His abundant blessings upon us and grant us lasting happiness, peace and prosperity,” he prayed.
