He added that these are is in addition to the spiritual rejuvenation of Islamic faith and injunction of the holy Quran, Hadith and sunna of the Islamic religion.

“It further rekindle the call for religious tolerance, harmony, understanding and cooperation where every person is allowed to practice his or her faith without encumbrance provided crisis are not deliberately generated,” he said.

He stated that the lessons learnt from the Ramadan is useful to all human beings, irrespective of faith, as it emphasizes unity, peace, honesty, sincerity, discipline, commitment, respect for constituted authorities, management of human and materials resources and many more, without bias, in the purity of the books.

“However, human factors have continued to crip into the people and as such, human beings have continue to go astray or deviate. As a people, may we  retract our steps and approaches and create room for righteous path. Obviously, even the governance system that we live in, dwells on these attributes and characteristics that are imbibed in the Ramadan, the holy book including the Bible and book of Psalms.

“May we truly learn from these lessons, thereby demonstrate and play the roles and responsibilities expected of the leaders and the  lead in government, in businesses and at  homes for a better home, communities, states, nation and the world at large to the Glory of Allah. Ameen.”
