Today, I congratulate you all, particularly the Muslim believers in Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu, Ofu and Idah federal constituency, Kogi state and around the world on the celebration of this year’s Eid-El-fitr and I am sure this is a day we will gather with family and friends to celebrate Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
After a month of fasting and reflection, Eid is a time for Muslims to come together to feast, celebrate, and share their good fortune with others.
I admonished my people especially the youths to continue to embrace peace, love and live like brothers and sisters because a family tie is like a tree, it can bend but it cannot break. As through this we make Idah federal constituency, Kogi, Nigeria and Africa stronger, more open, and more prosperous. Meanwhile, we can as well de-emphasize our premium personal urges and as as well employ extreme carefulness in the choice of those who manages governmental affairs at all levels.
And while reflecting on the above, we should remember that we can equally create a more inclusive society, by firstly dismantling this idea that only people in power, or people of a certain age, or a certain gender are leaders.
On behalf Idrisima political family and otherwise, we extend our warmest wishes to all of you, especially those celebrating Eid-el-Fitr.
– Idris Hussein,
House of Representatives aspirant,
Idah Federal Constituency.
