The Edembe One of Gadumo, Chief Yahaya Audu has stressed the need for obedience to Allah’s instructions and love for one another following the completion of one month of Ramadan.
Chief Yahaya Audu who made the remark at the Post Flood Eid praying ground, Lokoja said obedience was essential as the lessons learnt during the past one month of Ramadan must be imbibed.
He appealed to Muslims to also pray for leaders at all levels for a better society, saying the challenges facing the nation will be a thing of the past through prayers.

The traditional ruler Congratulated Muslims and the government on the successful Ramadan and Sallah celebration, describing both as well deserved.
Earlier n his speech, the Imam of Post Flood Housing Estate praying ground, Imam Abubakar Ishaq said sustaining the lessons of Ramadan was key as it demonstrates the fear of Allah on their part.
The religious leader described the one month of spiritual exercise as a period of sober reflection and holiness, urging the Muslims to sustain such prayers for the peace, love and unity among the people irrespective of religion, tribe and other affiliations.
The Imam appealed to the congregation to always demonstrate true love and holiness in order to obtain Allah’s mercy.
