The actin Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Usman Ogbo has offered prayers to God to put the state on the path of sustainable development
In a Sallah message to the Polytechnic community to commemorate this year’s eid-el-fitr, the Rector congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
“On behalf of the Principal Officers, Management and Academic Board of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to congratulate the entire Muslim faithful, particularly the staff and students of our great institution for the grace to witness the end of this year’s Ramadan and the benefits of fasting accrued to the period.
“I wish to in a special way felicitate with His Excellency, our amiable Visitor to the Polytechnic, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi state, the entire Muslim Ummah and the good people of Kogi State for the grace to witness the end of Ramadan and for the privilege to join the rest of the world in commemoration of the Eid-el-Fitr.
“It is our sincere prayers that Allah in his infinite mercy accept our supplications, grant our heart desires and, for the sake of Ramadan, deliver our nation from the ravaging scourge of Covid-19 pandemic and other socio-economic challenges,” he said.
He prayed that almighty Allah accept all act of Ibadaat to “overlook all shortcomings, strengthen us individually and collectively.”
