Governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in the 2023 Kogi state election, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh, has congratulated Muslims across the state on the celebration of this year’s festival of sacrifice, Eid-el-Adha.
In a statement signed by Hon Musa Olumayowa Yakubu, Head of Braimoh Media Office, and made available to newsmen on Friday, the former governorship candidate urged everyone to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and to hope for a better tomorrow.
Braimoh said his earnest prayer is that “the spirit of this season turn our constraints into opportunities”.
“I congratulate the Muslim faithful across the state on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Adha. May we joyfully celebrate several more of these events in sound health and prosperity.
“This season, let us reflect on the core values of the celebration, which is faith, tolerance, and sacrifice.
“Achieving significant goals in life calls for a lot of sacrifice which involves us to deploy our energy and other resources because nothing of value comes easily. Only by relentless effort and commitment to our goals can we finally achieve success,” he added.
