Former Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has called for more sacrifice, love and patience in view of the prevailing health and economic challenges bedevilling the nation.
Idris made the call in a message to mark this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.
He explained that the sacrifices made by Prophet Ibrahim that formed the basis for the annual commemoration and celebration of Edi-el Kabir should be the guiding principle for all faithfuls in their endeavours.
He congratulated Muslim faithfuls for witnessing this year’s occasion, praying for more progress and development of the country.
The former governor urged Moslems not to use the occasion as a period of celebration alone, but pray for turn of events in Nigeria.
