We wish to Congratulate his Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi States and people of Kogi state for the successful hosting of the Kogi State Economic and investment Summit.
We, the Student of Mechanical Engineering in Kaduna Polytechnic, wishes to appreciate the tremendous effort of the Federal Government and that of the State Government geared towards the revival of the long decayed Ajaokuta steel company that has been in a deplorable and lamentable State for so many years.
You have shown to the world the highest professionalism and greatest perseverance over this long and tiring struggle.
Your Excellency, we are proud of you.
Ajaokuta steel company if revived will not only boost the Internally Generated revenue (IGR) of our State, Kogi state and Nigeria at large. It will also reduce unemployment to an appreciable rate.
The benefit of reviving Ajaokute Steel Company cannot be overemphasized of the students of Mechanical Engineering.
We want to use these medium to offer ourselves for the service of our State and our fathers land. We want to contribute our own quota to the development and growth of the socio-economic activities in our state.
So we call upon His Excellency Gov Yahaya Bello to please consider sponsoring Engineering students with Scholarship for external training abroad, so we can come back home to practice our profession and contribute to the growth of the Nation.
Finally, we want to appreciate the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari who has kept to his promise in diversifying our economy through agriculture and other sectors. May God continue to give him the strength as he makes things right.
We want to thank him for believing in the potential of our state and acknowledging the importance of the steel company.
We appreciate and salute the effort of the youngest Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh.Yahaya Bello for his purposeful leadership.
