Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), representing Kogi East Senatorial District, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

In a Sallah message released on Thursday, the lawmaker congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the month-long fast, describing Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and discipline.

Echocho called on the people of Kogi East and Nigerians at large to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan, particularly compassion, unity, and selflessness. He stressed that the lessons of the holy month should not end with the celebration but should continue to shape individual conduct and collective responsibility.

The senator also urged citizens to promote peaceful coexistence and extend support to the less privileged, noting that such acts are essential for building a harmonious and progressive society.

Reaffirming his commitment to effective representation, Echocho assured constituents of his continued dedication to policies and initiatives aimed at improving their welfare and fostering sustainable development across Kogi East.

He further prayed for peace, stability, and prosperity in the district and the country at large, while wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and fulfilling Eid celebration.

“May Almighty Allah accept our prayers and sacrifices and bless our land with enduring peace and abundance,” he said.
