The office of Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has confirmed the approved site for the construction of a new 20 bed clinic at Omedo Ajogobi, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State, making access to quality healthcare for rural communities in the area possible.
The delegation led by Alhaji Akpa Omale, visited the Palace of the Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, to formally brief him on the Senator’s commitment to delivering the health project.
Alhaji Akpa Omale explained that Echocho’s continuous efforts to bring essential infrastructure closer to underserved communities, with Omedo Ajogobi identified as a priority due to its longstanding need for medical services is commendable.
In his response, the Onu Ankpa Alhaji Abdulmalik Umar, expressed profound appreciation to Senator Isah Jibrin, for prioritizing the welfare of his people. He offered prayers for the success of the project and pledged the full support of the traditional institution throughout its execution.
According to a statement by his media aide, Mikail Ibrahim, the Senator’s team and Palace representatives, jointly inspected and confirmed the designated site where the clinic will be built.
“Work is scheduled to commence in the coming days, with assurances that the facility will be fully equipped upon completion to serve the healthcare needs of residents effectively,” Mikail Ibrahim said.
