Apparently satisfied with the representation and developmental strides of the member representing Okene I state constituency, Hon. Lawi AT Ahmed, in the midst of the current economic challenge, members of the Ebira Elite Youth of Okene (EEYO), on Monday, passed a vote of confidence on the lawmaker.
The group, rising from its congress held in Okene to elect new leadership, posited that the vote of confidence on the lawmaker is devoid of any form of political sycophancy but was borne out of a careful and systemic analysis of the lawmaker’s achievements so far which they described as amazing.
Speaking at the occasion, the outgoing president of the group, Comrade Aminu Bello said; “There is no denying the fact that Hon. Lawi’s pursuit for the betterment of Ebiraland is heart-warming to all the people of Ebiraland, especially in the area of community projects and human development which has earned him the overwhelming support of Ebira youths”
The secretary of the group, Comrade Sanusi Jimoh, in his brief statement said Hon. Lawi’s “two years in office has been tremendous and is being attested to by all the youth of Ebiraland as he is making us the youth proud. Most importantly, at a time like this when the state and the nation is passing through economic challenges, what is required of us is our support and prayers for him (Lawi) to succeed.”
