Senator representing Kogi East, Atai Aidoko Ali has congratulated Christians from Kogi East on the commemoration of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
According to a statement signed by Aidoko’s media office, the lawmaker urged the people to imbibe the spirit of tolerance, oneness, patience, forgiveness and perseverance as demonstrated by our Lord who died on the cross of cavalry.
Senator Aidoko admonished the people to pray for peaceful coexistence and brisk economic recovery of this country from recession as it will be the bane of the survival of the middle class.
The ranking senator said the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ stimulates and enrich our beliefs in the quick resolution to the myriads of problems bedeviling the country in the shortest possible time.
Aidoko congratulated the people of Kogi East and the entire state on the recent appointment three of their sons into public offices in a record time. He urged the new Federal appointees to strive to leave indelible marks on the sands of time by contributing to the development of the area and humanity.
