Alh Nasiru Usman Bello, an aspirant contesting to represent Okene/OgoriMagongo Constituency at the Green Chamber, has felicitated with Christians in Nigeria, especially his constituents on the celebration of Easter.
Bello in a felicitation message issued on Saturday March 31st, 2018 emphasized peace and sacrifice as key lessons that come with Easter, calling on Nigerians to reflect on them.
“Because Jesus is the reason for the season, there is a need to critically look at the exemplary life he lived while on earth, and apply the philosophy as a panacea to the problems embattling us as a people.
“Therefore, we must ensure our love and sacrifice for humanity wax stronger than ever before, as our winning streak for progress.
“Above all, there is so much we can achieve in peaceful coexistence as ONE NATION collectively wielding the storm.”
While urging representatives of government at all tiers to put the interest of the masses at the fore of programmes and policies, he also called on the people to support the government in developmental strides.
