The Executive Chairman of Ofu Local Government, Hon. Musa Muhammed Lawal, heartily extends his warm Easter greetings to all Christians across Ofu Local Government Area.
In his goodwill message, the Chairman congratulated the Christian faithful on the successful commemoration of Easter, a sacred season that symbolizes sacrifice, redemption, and victory. He prayed for God’s abundant grace, strength, and divine preservation upon all believers, expressing hope that they will witness many more Easter celebrations in good health and prosperity.
Hon. Musa Muhammed Lawal called on Christians to reflect deeply on the exemplary life and teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing love, sacrifice, humility, and service to humanity as core values that should guide both personal conduct and community engagement. He urged them to remain steadfast in promoting peace, unity, and moral discipline within society.
Speaking in a political and developmental context, the Chairman highlighted the importance of collective responsibility and active citizen participation in governance. He encouraged the people to sustain their support, loyalty, and cooperation with the present administration, noting that such unity is critical to delivering more dividends of democracy at the grassroots.
He reaffirmed his administration’s unwavering commitment to inclusive governance, infrastructural development, and the overall welfare of the people of Ofu Local Government.
