The Acting Executive Chairman, Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Sule Salihu Enehe, has felicitated with the management and staff of the service on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebrations.

In a statement released by the Head of Unit, Corporate Communications, Muhammad Mukhtar Idris, the Acting Executive Chairman called on the Christian faithfuls to use the occasion for sober reflection, self-examination and strive to be good ambassadors of their religion by upholding high moral values.

Enehe reminded the Christians that Jesus Christ is a role model to all of us who we should always try to imbibe and replicate the spirit of peace, love and unity that He stands for.

According to him, we must imbibe His lessons and make it a duty to sacrifice for one another and always remember those who are less fortunate than ourselves, knowing fully that, selfishness, greed and gross- misconduct have no place in our dealing with our colleagues and the taxpayers.

Enehe urged the staff to rise above personal interests and promote harmony and tolerance as religion is a major factor in influencing the human behaviour towards good conduct and actions.
