Easter: EACDA National President Greets Christians, Calls for Renewed Commitment to Peace, Tolerance, Community Development

The National President of EkinrinAdde Community Development Association (EACDA), Elder Deinde Toyin Komolafe, has extended his warmest felicitations to Christians in EkinrinAdde and its environs on the joyous occasion of Easter. 

Easter is a moment of reflection on the sacrifices of Jesus Christ for mankind. His persecution, death and triumphant resurrection on the cross of Calvary. 

Elder Deinde Toyin, In a statement, admonished members and friends of EkinrinAdde both at home and in the diaspora, to imbibe the teachings and practices of our Savior beyond the season; these, he noted, include love, compassion, forgiveness, tolerance and selflessness. 

He further called for a renewed commitment to peace and collective commitment to the development of EkinrinAdde community. 

According to him ” As we celebrate Easter, let us reflect on how we can collectively contribute meaningfully to the growth and unity of our beloved community. The spirit of Easter should inspire us to work together, respect our differences and uplift one another” 

Elder Deinde Toyin lauded individuals and groups who have contributed to the development of EkinrinAdde community in the time past. He expressed his profound respect for the Baptist High School (BHS) 1986 set for erecting a Modern Gate at the school’s entrance. 

The President reiterated that, EkinrinAdde people’s dedication to communal service is legendary and serves as a model for other communities in Okun and Kogi State at large. He, therefore, encouraged all sons and daughters of the community to sustain this tempo by actively participating in the initiatives that promote peace, unity and sustainable development.

In his closing remarks, the President reminded members of the community of the important task ahead, stating that all hands must be on deck to ensure the success of the biggest event coming up in June.
