Easter: ‘Be Submissive to God, Radiate Love, Peace’, Kogi Poly Rector Admonishes Christians

Rector, Kogi State Polytechnic, Dr. Salisu Ogbo Usman, has enjoined Christians to imbibe the teachings of Christ.

In his Easter message on Sunday, Dr. Salisu called on Christians to be submissive to God Almighty in all they do.

The Rector urged Christian faithfuls to keep in mind the significance of the season, which is the perfect demonstration of sacrificial love for others.

“On behalf of the Governing Council, Academic Board, Management, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, I wish to felicitate with all the Christian faithful on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Easter celebration.

“I would like to enjoin us to, in conformity with Christ’s teachings, be submissive to God Almighty, radiate love, peace and humility.

“It is my sincere wish that we take advantage of this revitalising occasion to pray for the advancement of the Kogi State Polytechnic, and Kogi State and Nigeria in general, so as to ensure prosperity for all.

“Once again, accept the hearty felicitations of Kogi State Polytechnic, and my best wishes on the occasion of this year’s Easter celebration,” he said.
