The Founder and CEO of Natasha Akpoti Impact Investment Program, Natasha Hadiza Akpoti, Esq. has charged young school graduates to begin their career choices with big dreams and the right actions while making sure they imbibe the spirit of gratitude to every offer they may find on their ways.

Akpoti, who was guest speaker at the 2020 graduation ceremony of the Pacesetters’ School Abuja, inspired the teenagers to be purpose driven and never undermine the power that lies in their voices and actions.

In her speech, Akpoti encouraged the young graduates to navigate life with determination and confidence in their ability to succeed irrespective of their past or background.

In her words, Akpoti said “even though you are graduating from one of the best schools in Nigeria today, your success beyond this borders is going to largely depend on your own effort. Don’t forget to dream because everything on earth starts with a dream.”

Emphasizing on the power of gratitude in life, Akpoti said to the young graduates “nobody owe you anything in life. Be grateful for every offer you may get, even rejections too. Learn to appreciate every iota of goodwill, including the ones from your parents.”

She further inspired the graduates to deploy the right action for the right cause.

“You are not too young to start deploying the right actions for the right cause. One action mean a thousand much more than intentions. When you go home from here, search google and read about young inventors. Read about Malala Yousafzai on girl child education and Greta Thunberg on climate change advocacy. You will be inspired to think and dream big.

“In times to come, I want to see a group of students from Pacesetters’ Schools come up with an idea for change. I don’t mind being a mentor to that. I wish to see amazing Patriots among you in the nearest future,” Akpoti said.

Earlier, while introducing the guest speaker, the Founder and Proprietor of the Pacesetters’ Group of Schools Abuja described Natasha Akpoti’s choice as a great honor and privilege to the management of the schools who had long clamour for a highly intellectual and resourceful female to speak at the 2020 edition of the graduation ceremony.

Akpoti graced the ceremony alongside the wife of Chief of Air Staff, Hajiya Hafsat Sadiq and other high personalities.
