A Stalwart of the governing party , the All Progressives Congress in Kogi State, Erico Joseph Amen PhD., has felicitated with the state governor, Alh. Usman Ahmed Ododo, Christians and citizens on marking this year’s Christmas which is the commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Erico Amen, in a congratulatory Christmas message,which was released to media houses in Lokoja, kogi state capital,explained that the season called for sober reflection as His birth brought positive narrative in mankind and the World,as His coming brings salvation to humanity.
According to him,Christmas should not only be seen as time for merrying making or jaboree rather the season to reflect on Christ good deeds which is focused on access to God ,Peace,love ,sacrifice,,tolerance,Peace, good neighborliness to permeate them.
Erico AmehPhD.,who is also a paragon of security know how and based in Abuja,asserted that these virtues ,when imbibed by the citizens will result to positive transformation in the lives of the people ,urging christian community and citizens to continue to co-habit peacefully with other faiths for the society to accomplish her set goals .
He enjoined the christians and non christians alike to ,in the spirit of the season to embrace government’s policies and programmes ,promote peacefully living with one another as a necessary condition to fast-track a secured society and socio-economic development to thrive.
