The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) 2027 Kogi state governorship aspirant, Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm, has congratulated both the Muslim and Christian communities as they start the holy seasons of Ramadan and Lent.
In a statement on Wednesday, Dr. Bryhm described Ramadan as a time for self-purification, discipline, compassion, and avoiding bad habits. He prayed for Allah’s guidance and strength for all Muslims during the fasting period.
Similarly, Dr. Bryhm recognized the beginning of the Christian season of Lent, which also starts today. Lent is a time for deep spiritual reflection, fasting, and prayer in preparation for Easter. Many Christians around the world observe 40 days of fasting during this period.
Dr. Folabora Adekoya Bryhm encouraged followers of both faiths to use this sacred time of spiritual growth to get closer to God. He urged them to promote peace, love, and unity. He also asked them to pray for Kogi State and Nigeria.
He is confident that the prayers and supplications from the faithful during this season will be heard.
“May our prayer requests in this year’s Ramadan and Lent be granted. Amen.”
