Dr Anyegwu Bags Lifetime Achievement Award

In recognition of his priceless contributions and ongoing total overhauling of Kogi State College of Health Sciences and Technology Idah (KSCHST), Observers Newswatch Magazine has presented a Lifetime Achievement award to the Provost of the citadel of learning, San. Comrade Dr. Nuhu Solomon Anyegwu.

The award was presented to the Provost during the 12th Annual Lecture/Presentation of Award and Fund Raising, which was put together by Observers Newswatch, under the distinguished Chairmanship Dr. Mrs Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, Minister of State Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Theme of the event was ‘The Roles of Media in A Democratic System of Government”

A statement signed by the Editor- in – Chief of Observerwatch Magazine, Prof. Obatimehin Andrew Ige celebrated Anyegwu on the giant strides which is unmatchable among his contemporaries as Provost KSCHSTI.

“This is in recognition and appreciation of your dedication to official matters, mobile dynamism in adoption of contemporary management principles in Nigeria Education Sector most especially in College of Health sciences and Technology Idah”

Receiving the World Best Provost Award 2022, Anyegwu thanked the media group for the honour, and appreciate God Almighty who has endowed him greatly, intellectually and morally enablement to attain this rare feat

He dedicated the award to the education and health friendly Executive Governor of Kogi State for his doggedness to rebrand the institution to global standard.

“I dedicate this precious ward to my Governor His Excellency Alhaji (Dr) Yahaya Adoza Bello who gave me the opportunity to serve these seven (7) years under his focused administration. He has welcomed me and has really encouraged me to do my best in this position, and to the management of KSCHSTI in particular, who are responsible for executing and implementing a lot of those policies that we made at the Board level.

“To my management team, the cooperation I enjoyed has helped me to achieve greatly in the College. It is one family for us,” he said.

Anyegwu has received over 60 different awards for excellent performance. He has a plethora of achievements marked by awards in different shapes, sizes and body dimensions meticulously arranged on the provost office table from diverse organizations within and outside the country.
