I find it pertinent to bring to the public knowledge the cardinal reasons why I remain hellbent in perpetuating reprisal to weaken the recalcitrant, unscrupulous attitude of Daniel Gbenga Melaye also known as Dino Melaye.
His entrance into politics was in a maligned manner. When he came through General Buba Marwa, former Lagos State Governor,to sink borehole at Ayetoro Gbede. Being it as it was, Dino, through his smartness quickly rode on this humanitarian advantage to form an organization called NADY to promote Marwa for his Presidential ambition.
To cut the long story short, Dino in his usual backbiting and pull him down syndrome, slandered against Col Toba before Marwa.
Col Toba who introduced Dino to the General, had the intention to contest for House of Representatives, Kabba /Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency. Dino outsmart him before Marwa with his usual pattern of Politics i.e (Politics of bitterness) he knows how to play best,slandering and false spreading.
He took the party ticket of People Democratic Party PDP under the leadership of the erstwhile Kogi State Commissioner of Finance, Elder Abiodun Ojo, Arc Olorunfemi,Gen Jemibewon, Myself and other party stakeholders from Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency.
He can prostrate for a sheep when he needs assistance and becomes arrantly ingrate after getting it.
I frankly jettisoned huge amount of cash coming from other camps to go with Dino for being a youth and having the believe that, he was a true advocate of liberation that will represent the interests of the Kabba/Bunu /Ijumu Federal Constituency Youths, which is my topmost priority of my set out thematic agendas
Dino as at then, usually put up in his father’s room and parlour in Ayetoro Gbede whenever he was home for political venture. As poor as he was, I and the compendium of resourceful Youths in Kabba /Bunu /Ijumu Federal Constituency gave in all we could,that gave him victory.
Getting to House of Representatives, Dino started all sorts of misrepresentations of his constituents by supporting corrupt practices perpetrated by Patricia Etteh as a Speaker House of Representative.
This was the nascent political business of Dino who abandoned his legislative responsibilities saddled upon him for personal aggrandisement.
This later led to his sanction and suspension which left Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituents inability to laud their voices nor air their views at the National Lower Chambers as a result of his inordinate ambition.
These were the major reasons that characterized my predisposition about the person of Dino Melaye’s rejection under the APC Party, when he was vying for Senate where I was the APC Local Government Party Chairman of Ijumu Local Government,where he claims.
Dino came with money bag to seek my empathy, but to no results yielded. I was frowned on zoning system of senatorial rotation in Kogi West Senatorial District. I was being emphatic on the note that, Ijumu LG has produced Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District twice after Senator Tunde Ogbeha. I reiterated my concern on the spirit of fair play and equity that Yagba People should be the next producer of Senator of our Senatorial District, I told Dino point blank.
Meanwhile I made him to understand that, I have not changed from my usual person I am known to be, where my decision cannot be orchestrated by cash but by principle according to the lesson I learnt from my Father.
In his usual ladron “Jaguda” trait where he stole a television during his school unionism days in Zaria in which led to his impeachment as a SUG President repeated itself, where he hijacked the party materials for primary election to unknown destination to perpetrate shady primary with the aid of the late Abubakar Audu.
This was one of the major reasons why Okun extraction which consists of five local governments rejected him at the polls during the general election.
Ask him to bring forth the results of the 2015 election to juxtapose and see how I showed him class. He took the advantage of President Buhari Tsunami to get the sympathy of Lokoja/Koto’s Federal Constituency’s bulk votes to emerge as a Senator.
The major stakeholders that piloted his course of emergence from that Federal Constituency are yet to reap from the fruits of their labours for giving him the mandate.
During the primary election saga, which who will handle the gubernatorial party ticket was on top of the gear, he worked immensely for GAMJI, A bloody billionaire who contested for gubernatorial election under our great party APC.
Dino Melaye never believed in the course of Alh Yahya Adoza Bello for a second.
Late Abubakar Audu of the blessed memory approached me with a whopping millions of naira to solicit for the chunk delegate votes coming from Okun, I turned down the intimidating cash and faced squarely the possibility of Alh Yahya Adoza Bello’s emergence,as a Local Government Party Chairman doubled as the Cordinator AYB Western Senatorial District. With God and the trust my people have in me, we were successfully able to convince Okun delegates to give Alh Yahya Bello their bulk votes, which was achieved and culminated his emergence as Prince Audu Abubakar runner up at the primary poll results.
At the preparation for the inauguration ceremony,Dino Melaye said “the Elephant killed is enough to share” he then came with his 80cm long knife to share from the killed Elephant where he did not hunt.
The causative reason of the duel between his Excellency Alh Yahya Adoza Bello and Dino Melaye was, in his over domineering trait on the allotment of political offices, to who will occupy where in Government.
Dino Melaye in his inordinate style of over zealousness, insisted I should not be compensated for the job well done as the Administrator of Ijumu LG where I was begotten.
As at the point I was facing persecution from my people for supporting Alh Yahya Adoza Bello who is an Ebira Man, Dino was enjoying the immediate gains of hobnobbing from one politician to the others.
Having come with his long knife to share from the “Killed Elephant”, he remained obstinate that Gov Yahya Adoza Bello must not make me an Administrator, owing to the fact that he already knew I was going to be made the Algon Chairman.
He eventually failed to convince the ever conscious Governor why I should not be empowered.
My principled, enigmatic and God fearing Governor told him affirmatively that, he prefers loosing one hundred of Dino than to loose a Taufiq.
He (Dino) started his immoral verbal attack on the person and personality of Governor Yahaya Bello just to ply the route of distraction and inorderliness to disorganise the government that has eighty percent youth in its cabinet.
Calling Gov Yahya Adoza Bello series of unprintable and lewd names, depicts several meanings of anti people culture that many vow to fight with the last blood in their veins to halt.
Meanwhile the war against anti people is led by my humble self. Dino Melaye is a Professor in malign making, slandering and mischievous campaigns, while I am an Antidote to Malign, Slandering and mischievous campaigns.
Goes by my antecedence right from my school days and roles in human rights activism against human maltreatment in whatever form.
I supplicate God Almighty not to change me from my usual person who is a selfless politician that sets people’s priorities above mine. I have made it a point of duty to continue the verbal war with Sen Dino Melaye until he retraces his steps from all the unnecessary denigrations of government policies and toe the path of a moral citizen of Ijumu LG and Kogi State. I am a Man that turned down leisureable offer from the government for the emancipation of collective offers. I have promised myself and my God that, I shall toe the path of the Heroes that had no personal properties and superfluous wealth for the emancipation of the nation.
I, Hon Taufiq A Isa will never allow any self-centered politician of whatever class to barricade the chances of Okun from achieving developmental strides in this divine tenure.
I am singularly extolling the virtue of Gov Yahya Bello for ceding unprecedented juicy hierarchies of political offices to Okun people.
Ranging from SSG, Commissioner of Finance, Education, Agriculture, Women Affairs, ALGON Chairman, Chairman SUBEB, Special Advisers, Security, Political, Culture and Tourism, Youths Empowerment,Sports and Students Affairs, DG Media and Strategies, SSA IGR, Admin,Planning and strategy, Mobilization etc,which had never benefited Okun people and Kogi West Senatorial District to have it good this far.
Going by these immense recognition and adulation of this Lad presiding over Kogi State to Okun People, in my own candid opinion, I thought rallying round him should be what is expected of every legitimate Okun Person to dispense, instead of disparagement and attempt of distraction. It will be on my own part as an ingrate not to have defended the Boss I am serving under his stewardship and leadership, while someone who in his inordinate characters thought that he has monopoly of vexatious conduct. We will restrict such attitude with all saliva in our mouth, blood in our veins, marrow in our bones and ink in our pen. If such person of no integrity can call my Boss who gave me opportunity to serve my people diligently by giving them qualitative democratic dividends a rat, then what should I call his person who rode on the popularity of President Buhari Tsunami to rape the people of Kogi West Senatorial District of their votes?. Indeed he is a “mosquito”. I am calling on the good people of Okun Land and Kogi State in general to join the moving train of New Direction Team before it is too late.
