The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across Nigeria and the diaspora as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Meseko congratulated the faithful for successfully completing the holy month of Ramadan, a period he described as a rigorous but rewarding journey of spiritual rejuvenation, discipline, and devotion.
Hon. Meseko emphasized that the lessons learned during the days of fasting—patience, self-denial, and increased piety—should transcend the month of Ramadan.
“Eid-el-Fitr is not just a time for celebration, but a moment to reflect on the virtues of empathy and togetherness. I urge our Muslim brothers and sisters to continue to extend a hand of fellowship to the needy and maintain the spirit of oneness that defines our great nation,” Meseko stated.

The APC chieftain used the occasion to appeal to Nigerians to remain steadfast in their support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He noted that the current reforms are designed to steer the country toward sustainable economic growth and long-term prosperity.
He urged citizens to exercise patience as the government’s policies begin to yield fruit.
He called for collective effort in nation-building, stressing that the task of moving Nigeria forward is a shared responsibility.
Meseko offered special prayers for the men and women of the armed forces who continue to sacrifice to ensure a peaceful celebration.
As the festivities begin, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary prayed that the blessings of the season bring peace to every household and stability to the federation. He concluded by wishing all Muslims a joyous, peaceful, and “Barika da Sallah” celebration.
