Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salisu Ogbo Usman has praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for entrenching focused leadership, his commitment to continuity, progress, and the deepening of democratic ideals in the state.
In a statement signed by Uredo Omale, Director of of Public Relations and Protocol, on behalf of the management, academic board, staff and students of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, the Rector extended warm and profound felicitations to Governor Ododo, and the good people of the state on the momentous occasion of the 2025 Democracy Day celebration.
Professor Usman noted that Governor Ododo’s “early strides in consolidating on the gains of the past while charting a bold path for the future have been inspiring and impactful.”
The Rector stressed that the Polytechnic will remain committed to the actualisation of Governor Ododo’s educational vision through dedication to academic excellence and impacting knowledge on civic responsibility and nation-building.
“We are confident that under your visionary leadership, the Polytechnic and indeed the entire education sector will continue to thrive” he continued.
Professor Usman urged all citizens to remain united, peaceful, and active participants in the democratic process and continue to harness our diversity and collective strength to build a more prosperous Kogi State and Nigeria as they commemorate the 2025 Democracy Day.
