Defections: Hajia Hassiat Expresses Confidence in Ododo’s Victory, Commends Gov. Bello’s Exemplary Leadership

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairperson of Kogi State Mineral Resources and Environmental Management Committee (MIREMCO), Hajia Hassiat Ozavize Suleiman has expressed confidence in the victory of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman in the November 11th governorship election.

Hajia Hassiat made this known recently in Lokoja while reacting to the recent unprecedented exodus of members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP) and others into the governing All Progressives Congress APC in Kogi State.

The grassroot politician also attributed the recent increase in the membership base of the APC to the exemplary and unique leadership qualities of Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, describing him as a selfless leader whose desires is to lift the state to an enviable height of development.

She said “Whoever wants to be objective in assessing the New Direction administration of Governor Yahaya Bello in the last seven years will admit that the state has been moved from the abyss ethnicism and nepotism.

“Governor Yahaya Bello has been very courageous in his decisions to revamp the infrastructure of our dear state. Today, we have a befitting edifice that house the staff of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS), Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, Kogi State University, Kabba, Reference Hospital Okene and even the Ganaja flyover which the oppositions have never ceased in praising the Governor”

The MIREMCO boss welcomed the patriotic decision of prominent members of the oppositions parties across the Senatorial Districts of the state to join the APC, adding that the development of Kogi State is above personal interest of an individual.

She expressed confidence in the ability of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU) and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu (JOS) to consolidate on the gains of the New Direction Administration, stressing that the aforementioned projects would be a tip of the iceberg for the incoming administration.
