As we celebrate Democracy Day, I want to take a moment to acknowledge and appreciate the remarkable leadership of Hon. Jibril Abu, the Kogi State House of Assembly Member representing Ajaokuta constituency.

Hon. Jibril, you have embodied the true spirit of democracy through your selfless service and dedication to the people.

From its inception, your administration has been a beacon of hope for the youth, as you empowered them with financial support to start their own businesses, giving them the freedom to pursue their dreams. These steps do not just emancipate the beneficiaries but also indirectly contribute to the growth of the local economy of Ajaokuta LGA.

Your commitment to education is evident in your provision of school fees for numerous students, recognizing the power of education in shaping a brighter future for our society.

Your impact extends far beyond these notable achievements. You have worked tirelessly to provide agro products for farmers, repair damaged boreholes, initiate plans to built more motorised boreholes, and provide social welfare to the people. Your dedication to the well-being of your constituents is unwavering, and your efforts have not gone unnoticed.

While many of your accomplishments are publicly recognized, some of your quiet efforts are known only to a few. Yet, they are no less significant, and a testament to your character and leadership. You are a true democrat Hon. Jibril, and your contributions to our community are a shining example of what it means to serve the people and as such you deserves to be celebrated.
