Over the last couple of months, one of the biggest gains of Idah Federal Constituency, was doing away with lacklustre representation and embracing a vocal and accessible servant leader, Hon. David Idris Zacharias, with a proven track record of quality leadership, to represent them.
He came and broke the jinx of mediocrity, inconsistency and unproductiveness, replacing it with a breath of freshness and new hope for a new Idah Federal Constituency.
An exceptional breed with an irking for quality representation and who has used his contacts and network to bring a different narrative to bear in his Constituency.
When he speaks, his people listen to him with rapt attention. That’s an hallmark of a politician who is one with his people, all these are evident whenever he converse with his people.
Zacharias’ representation, is a people oriented one, which is a total deviation from the unpopular way of representation that has taken the constituency backward.
Since he came prepared, the constituency will continue to come first.
He’s raising the bar of legislation and representation by practising a democratic leadership style of inclusiveness and communal participation.
He should be encouraged to do more by people of goodwill across the constituency.
