Member of the House of Representatives representing Idah Federal constituency of Kogi State, Hon David Zacharias has extended his heartfelt condolences and that of his constituents to the Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on the death of his elder sister Hajiya Rabiyat Bello.
Zacharias in his condolence message was contained in a statement by his Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mr. Jeremiah Ocheme, in Abuja on Tuesday.
He also commiserated with Administrator of Okene local government, Abdukrazaq Muhammed, the government and people of Kogi state at large on the passing of their daughter.
The lawmaker described the deceased as a frontline figure in the campaign for a better Kogi State that she has contributed in various ways, especially through the provision of good advice to the governor and his siblings.
Zacharias attested that Rabiyat’s life as a Moslem will remain a reference point for up coming mothers who will learn from her the virtues of humility, prayerfulness, respect and had hard work.
Zacharias, therefore, prayed almighty Allah the most merciful to grant the number one family the fortitude to bear the loos and grant Rabiyat’s soul eternal rest.
It was the view of Zacharias that the late Rabiyat be immortalized with a call on the family to preserve the legacies she lived for.
The late Rabiyat died during a brief illness where she was receiving medical attention.
