A non-governmental organization, Northern Youth Advocacy For Excellence (NYAE), has commended the sterling leadership qualities of the Medical Controller, Nigeria Customs Hospital, Dr. Nanman Gadi Nandang.
The General Secretary of the NYAE, Comrade Musa Wada, gave the commendation during the Northern Youths Advocacy for Excellence Forum in Abuja on Thursday.
He said Dr. Nandang’s sense of integrity, commitment and character are exemplary traits needed to nurture the Nigeria Customs Hospital into top 10 in the country.
Wada described the controller as “a man of values whose visionary leadership and life-changing values ignites inspiration beyond the Nigeria Customs Service.
“His stint in the hospital has recorded landmark achievements in high staff and patients morale.
“Dr Nanman is a high potential personality who is ever true to his words, pragmatic and exceptionally loyal to the cause of his people. And because he is good, zealous, practical and strategic in thoughts and actions, he represents for us an inspiration. His constructive and eminently positive attitude to work makes him a testament to the desirable quality of our leadership.
“We, therefore, stand in solidarity with Dr Nanman Gadi Nandang, the Controller Medical, Nigeria Customs Hospital, and wish him more resounding success,” he said.
NYAE’s programme clusters include infrastructural development, entrepreneurial development and economic, political and corporate governance among other development programmes in Northern Nigeria and the country at large.
